    one front brake on 1979 750 thats not right???

    ok so i just got a 1979 750 i payed 400 bucks for it and i have been investigating on what i wanna do with it looking a pics taking notes on what i like dont like blah blah... but in all the pics i have looked at stock or modded the 1979 750 had dual front brakes why ont mine... any ieads

    Some had one, some had two.
    Easy enough to add the second one.

      ok now how can i tell what model of 1979 gs750 is it? i think i read some where that there was like 3 diff. models that year i know one way is if it has 16 valves but is there any other was to tell?

                Nothing with a seat that big can be called plain, except maybe a Gold Wang.
                It has it's own weather pattern!
                At least 14 naugas gave their lives to produce that seat!\

                      I don't think the rear fender is stock either.
                      I have a seat just like that one but it doesn't quite look like that! At least I hope not.
                      1983 GS 1100E w/ 1230 kit, .340 lift Web Cams, Ape heavy duty valve springs, 83 1100 head with 1.5mm oversized SS intake valves, 1150 crank, Vance and Hines 1150 SuperHub, Star Racing high volume oil pump gears, 36mm carebs Dynojet stage 3 jet kit, Posplayr's SSPB, Progressive rear shocks and fork springs, Dyna 2000, Dynatek green coils and Vance & Hines 4-1 exhaust.
                      1985 GS1150ES stock with 85 Red E bodywork.

                        The rear tail and fender are stock, they just look different because of "The Seat". Plain ole GS750 means GS750C. The GS750E model had the dual discs.
