Nope. That's just a cap that goes over the end of the shaft for the throttle plates. The ones you are looking for should be directly above that point on the top side of the carb.

just went out and looked at my carbs again. there is nothing on the top nor the bottom that resembles whats in the pic. the only other thing i found is right above what i was pointing at. these carbs are weird. i tried to follow the carb cleaning series but my carbs are just different. both my jets are actually located in my float bowl.lol i have a weird one.I didnt do it I swear !!

How about right behind the vacuum line on the side of the carb in your picture? Does that look like a capped off jet by any chance? Pull the vacuum line and give us a picture of that.

Looks like it could possibly be behind the plug with the small hole in it. Is there a plug like that on the opposite carb?

That IS where they are. You'll have to remove that plug, easy enough, simply run a drywall screw into that hole, you may have to drill a little bit bigger pilot hole. Carefully sink the screw in a few threads till it bites and wont simply pull out, but dont go so deep you hit the adjustment screw under the plug. Its roughly a 1/4inch or so thick, that plug, so you have a little breathing room. You'll have to likely wiggle and turn and jimmy on the screw, but it will come out eventually. Those plugs were put in there by the factory to keep people like us from tampering with them....LOL
