    Float Bowl Gasket

I've removed these gaskets before and, after so many years, they're shot. I've bought the carb rebuild kit before and I remember paying something like $80. Everything else on these carbs is in real good shape, even the gasket I just took off came off in good shape.

I guess what I'm getting at is this. If one of the gaskets doesn't come off clean, if there another option besides buying the rebuild kit? -nick

Carb gaskets are one of the gaskets you need to get OEM. You can find them on Ebay sometimes. Their are also generic float bowl gasket sets on Ebay - they work fine but are not as thick as the OEM
