Tires for a TS 185...

    Tires for a TS 185...

    3.00 x 19 and 3.50 x 18, equivalent to 90-90/19 and 100-90/18.
    On-off road, the old trials universal, anything.
    Can't find them at any of the online places.
    Any ideas?

        Ah, here you go -- both sizes (90/90-19 & 100/90-18) are available in the Avon RoadRider:



        Easy-peasy. Excellent tires. They'll last forever on the mighty 185.

        And they're V-rated, too. You know, in case you were worried about what might happen at 130 mph.

          Actually I want something with some chunks to the tread, planning on riding it around in the snow. :-)

            The tires in the first link are pretty "chunky".

            Combine those with some screw-in studs...
            We design, make, and sell protective gear and equipment for people who ride motorcycles and scooters. We care about motorcycling, quality, value, and customer service.



            The Kenda TrackMaster is the usual full knobby used for studding, but you'd need to stuff an oversize rear on your front rim and hope there's still room for the knobs. Hmmmm...


            And yes, I've been looking into doing something similar with a small-bore dual-sport, like a DR350. You're not crazy. Or at least we both are.

            I don't think you can get away with some Fredettes on that little booger:
