Running 17mm wrist pins on GS

This thread is sort of related to my Yosh piston thread, but topic is different, so it seems best to keep things organized and start another.

After measuring, these pistons have a 17mm wrist pin. I suppose I have three options before they are just cool paperweights:
1] have them bored to 18mm, but then I may have problems with the circle clips staying in place
2] use another rod; which might be too expensive, unless an older kawi rod could be run on our crank, which may require a spacer or some milling to the block in order put the piston back in the proper position.
3] Some other way I do not know about.

    Has anyone dealt with this?

some older machine shops might have a small power hone.

hone it out and re-groove the piston pin keeper. all very possible
SUZUKI , There is no substitute

If they are a 17 mm wrist pin, you have KAWASAKI pistons! Sell them & buy some for a SUZUKI! Ray.

Is that what I bought?? Can they work, or is it too much work?
