volt guage

with all the posts about charging system problems i was thinking of installing a volt meter on my gs 1150 es. someting small and clean. has somebody already done this ?.

ive been thinking about puttin a small LCD voltage gauge on the bike,
prob wasnt gonna mount it in the gauges, but on the side, where you can see it when your off the bike

or mount it between the handlebars and tank, with a switch so its not on all the time

this is kinda big for between the bars and tank
but i could see it mounted under the tank or something so when you were off the bike you could see it

I've done it. I have it mounted to the left handle bar clutch perch. I'll get a pic for you tommorrow.

Has anyone had problems with the sunpro guages not being waterproof or shockproof?
