Electrical question
What could be wrong if the horn and front brake switch stopped working. and the fuses are not blown? 1979 Suzuki GS850GTags: None

Probably two things...
1. The horn
2. The front brake light switch
I got my horns going with a can of spray contact cleaner. The brake light switch may need the same thing along with every electrical connector and ground point on the bike. Get to cleaning !!82 1100 EZ (red)

Could also be a bad wire in the circuit. They are both powered by the same fuse (along with the turn signals ... do they work?), but if there is a broken wire, they will not work. Check for good connections in and around the fuse box.
ps. delete your other identical post before someone posts to it. It can be confusing having two identical threads running.

+ 1 on the cleaning. Are you getting voltage at the horn? If you are brave take the switch apart to clean it but they tend to have little parts fly and get lost when opened. For the front brake switch part #20 goes bad, it has a little spring in it, not Suzukis best design.
