    anti-dive removal

    Hello fellow GSers.

    I want to fit braided brake lines to my 1982 GSX1100EZ, and it's so much cheaper without the anti-dive plumbing. Can you tell me if it's possible to disable the anti-dive, and if so, how it can be done?

    As for disabling the anti-dive, the search feature is your friend. Here's a couple examples I found:

      There is tons of info in the archive on this…

      Easiest thing to do is just ditch the small hose going over to the anti-dive actuator (you will need a single banjo bolt to replace the double on the caliper. It’s generally advised to plug the hole on the actuator to keep dirt out. The entire anti-dive mechanism can be taken off but you will need to fashion some block off plates. If you do this you should machine a channel in the plate to connect the two ports on the fork otherwise your fork will act like the anti-dive is actuated all the time. Photos below shows some plates I made for my 750.
