    Handlebar Question

I would like to replace my stock bars with Daytona bars and was wondering if anyone who had done this noticed more vibration in the bars. The stock bars are closed on the ends and so I assume they are filled with something to reduce vibration. Anyone noticed a difference?

You are right the stock bars are filled to dampen the vibration. On recommendation from many here I have these bar ends and they will definately make a difference. You could also get one of these bar snakes although I am not sure how much they help, maybe someone can comment on them. The Daytona bars are definately worth getting.

I replaced my stock '83 1100G buckhorn bars with Daytona bars and found them a big improvement in riding position and with no increased vibration.

If you want to continue to use your fairing, you will not be able to use daytona bars.

You can use a GT380-550 bar which is about a little over an inch taller than Daytona bars and allows you to still use a fairing.

You can also use Honda CB bars as well.

Thanks to all for responding to my question. I think I will give the daytonas a try. Anyone know why the Flanders bars are so much more expensive than Bikemasters?
