    All right, that didn't work.

    Can you all see this?

Sorry about the image quality, it's snowing like crazy outside and it's dark. I used a hang light and my iPhone.

If not, perhaps this will work:

I saw a blurry image that I could not re-size.

Evidently you have to join Snapfish to be able to see the rest of the pictures?

        No thanks.

That does it. I have official come to the opinion that all online photo hosting sites are horrible. I hate them all.

          How about this then?

            Much better, thank you.

Still a little difficult to see exactly where it's broken, but I think I see the "washer" you were talking about.

The make-up of the signal assembly is a threaded metal rod inside a chrome plastic sleeve. The light is threaded onto one end of the rod, the other end is put through the hole in the headlight mounting ear, then has a nut that holds it tight. The "washer" goes between the plastic sleeve and the mounting ear, and actually covers the rubber bushing that is in the mount.

Now, which parts are in need of replacement?

            .

Looks like you need a new headlight ear.

I guess I just need the washer so that the nut has something to brace itself against and create a stronger hold. I am wondering if I can remove the headlight fixture entirely off of the bike so that I could slide a washer on, reassemble the electronics, and then screw it om tightly.

I am sorry if I appear to be dizzy, it's just that I bought my GS used and I just can't understand how he wired this thing up. It's confusing as all get out. This is why I posted my other thread about the wiring harness. I figured that if it was cost effective, it might be a better idea to start over from jump ball rather than to try to understand something that might not be correct to start with.

And did I mention that I hate ALL photo hosting sites? ALL OF THEM. 100% of them all suck.

And is it me but does "Snapfish.com" sound vaguely sexual?

You will need to disconnect the turn signal wires from the wiring harness, then while you hold the signal in place, stem thru headlight ear, thread the wires thru the washer then nut, slide them down the wires, to the stem & tighten the nut onto the stem. Now reconnect the wires to the harness, exactly where you disconnected them from earlier. Should be good to go. If you need to go someplace to find a washer, disconnect the wires first so you can take the complete signal with you, it will make it much easier to find the proper size washer. Good luck
