    DIY KIT http://gszone.biz/clutches.html
    Or grind rivits just enough to get it apart, shim the springs with hardened washers & reweld the rivits
    at minimum at least replace the big nut

        Very cool write up. It explains that the real problem is the thin oem backing plate. One can just buy the kit or send us their basket and we will send it back ready to install;

            That's a real important modification too. Stan at GRC also can do that job, he's been doing mine for years! You can find him here www.grccranks.com he's in Maine, and quick service.

              Yep, Stan just turned around a Falicon H/D clutch kit installation on my GS1000 clutch basket in under a week.
