Thanks. I was just about to give up when the idea hit me. I think I may be replacing it anyway, though.

Will any 'ol Suzuki mc fit this bike?

Great work on getting the piston out.

Hate to say this but if the bore has pitting the master is junk. The master body itself is made from cast aluminum and should not be honed in any way. The bore surface is supposed to be smooth and shiny so grinding out imperfections will damage the finish and make the bore out of round. You can get away with cleaning it up on the inside with an old, worn out piece of gray scotchbrite pad (the low grit scotchbrite pad, not a red or green pad which is coarser). Get a strong light and look down the inside to see if the bore is clean. Typically, the bore will be damaged right where that old piston was sitting...ask me how I know.

Pretty much, the ones for the "Ladies" model have the reservoir at a goofy angle when installed on normal bars, some of them have different angles where the banjo bolt goes in.

But any of them will make the brakes work.

Life is too short to ride an L.

              What's a "Ladies" model?

He means the "L" model. Obviously he thinks they are for chicks.
