Saw that 4-1 on there. Never heard of the brand, but it looks pretty good.

Wonder how long that pretty finish will last...

      Dang....Brett's a pimp ??

I knew I liked ya for a reason.

And yes. I've learned that sprucing up a bike does get a little pricey. I bought mine for $600 and probably have close to another $700-800 in it.....wish I would've kept records.

But I feel I'm still under or close to what I could sell it for. Although, with luck on my side, I'll never sell it.

I passed on them for now. Figuring exchange, shipping and handling and customs duty and taxes they're going to get close to $400 in Canuck bux. I can still get a set of Macs for just under $300 from my local guy. I was actually hoping to get something in a good used condition if such exists.

I don't really have to have them but if the right set at the right price turns up I'll make my move.

I do need the case guards, however, as I'm afraid my bum left leg will give out at some time and she'll go down. I hope I don't have to find out however.

I promised myself after blowing the budget on the XS project I wouldn't start gussying up the GS and spending a bunch. HaHa Worse yet I found another XS in boxes that only needs $250 to bring home (like I need more parts). I'm sure I can get him down to$100

I think this "hobby" slowly drives you mad and broke

I should likely take up knitting or something.

          Cheers all,

I've had a Mac 4>1 on my 650 for a few years now and it's fine. They're also the only source for a 650 here in Canada that I'm aware of. They do have a surface rusting problem with the headers which I've tried to address by having them sand blasted and then painting the pipes up to the muffler with high temp black paint. Visually it looks great. The chrome on the muffler is fine. The success or failure of this approach won't be seen til my bike's back on the road this spring.

I would do very bad things to get my hands on a Yosh for my 83.
