The oil cooler set up is basically the same for all the 8V engines – plain bearing 650 excluded. I built an adaptor and installed an Earl’s cooler on my 850. What kind of information are you interested in?Ed

It’s easier to just purchase an adaptor, or make one from scratch, as opposed to trying to modify the stock oil pressure sensor cover. Trust me, I tried.
BassCliff has a tutorial sheet I put together on how to make your own adaptor. If you don’t want to go though the exercise, there is a guy named Terry (from Oz) that sells prebuilt adaptors for about $100 USD. Search the archives here for lots more info on the subject or drop me a PM if I can be of any help.
Good luck.Ed

I don't think it can be done. Even Yoshimura from back in the day picked up the oil from the main galley feed under the oil pressure switch.Ed

I’ve seen 8V engines using the filter cover as the oil takeoff, but the return needs to go back in at the back of the engine.Ed
