    interchange ability of 781000-81850

    I found this

and my rear rotor is total crap so I have been looking for one.
    would it fit my 850L?

I doubt it, the L has a 16" rear wheel (shaft) and the E had a 17" rear (chain). I would think the mounting holes would be different but I am sure someone knows for sure. Are the drilled holes in the one rotor too close to the edge of the disc or is that just the picture?

I don't think it will fit your 850L -- if you compare them, I believe the diameter of the circle formed by the mounting bolts is much larger on your 850L.

What year is your 850L? I have a rear rotor from an '81 850L I'll sell ya cheap -- PM if you're interested. I think the '82-'82 GL models may be a bit different than the '80-81 GL models.

You're right Brian if the 82 and on L models were the same as the G models. The rotor has no "center" like the older ones do. It wont fit an older wheel.
