GS 700E Brake light switch
How do I adjust the front brake light switch. No matter how hard I hold the front brake the light doesn't come on. Thanks for the suggestionsTags: None

OK. I took the switch apart and cleaned the switch board. It turns the light on now, but it won't shut back off. Everything in the area is REALLY gummed up bad, so therefore the switch isn't moving like it should it just sticks. I really want to spray everything with brake clean, but I know the plastic won't like it. So were do I go from here.

I haven't lost any small parts yet!

Ok. I'll try some contact cleaner and see if that helps.
I moved the tab and the light stays on. I'm sure it's just because everything is gummed up.
