    carburetor SNAFU!

Tried to replace air-ject on carburetors today (82 GS650L), the airjet screw got stuck. I used a screw remover, 2 of the barrels are cracked. Now,I need to buy 2 carburetors.

What is the best way to remove theses jet screws?

Pilot air jets. I use a little heat from a torch. Then they come right out with a tight fitting screwdriver.

Use same method. Heat and a good fitting screwdriver.
This is the only thing I do use Easyouts on. (With heat) I usually call them neverouts.

The air jets don't even need to be removed. Just leave them in place and drop the carb body in the dip.
