    Cheng Shin Hi-Max Tires

I needed tires for my GS650G Cafe Project and remembered all the kind things said of the Cheng Shin Hi-Max tires. It seems that most people on this forum seem to believe that the performance is great for the price, and even if the price is not considered. So, I finally decided to try a set. Both tires, delivered for less than $100 ..... I'll give them an objective trial.

So, today I ordered a set from Shadetree Powersports. They had plenty in stock, if anyone else is seeking them. I had read several posts previously which said that they were scarce. Anyway, I'll let you all know what I think of this tire. That is, assuming anyone cares what I think HAHAHA.

The weather is supposed to be warm on Friday... maybe I'll be able to ride.

    Later .....

      WOW, $39 per tire, cool.
Do they ship tires to Canada though?
My Wife's brand new Yamaha came with Chen Shin tires

I don't know the answer to your question about shipping to Canada. They have 2 outlets, according to their flyer, located in Middlefield, OH and Big lake, Minnesota. So, I would imagine that the shipping would be considerably less than, say, Chaparral in So. Cal. You could phone them to inquire, 888-742-3387.

Hey, I just noticed that the phone number is listed as "Order USA/Canada Toll Free..." Maybe you'll have some new, inexpensive tires, too.

We wore out a set of Hi-Max tires on my wife's 850L. Took three seasons and 14,000 miles to do it, but we did it.

Got another set at Tires Unlimited.
Since the supply is running thin, they ask you to call them for availability before placing your order.

I just got the rear tire today ..... fast shipping! The invoice, however, listed the tire as a close out. So, hopefully anyone interested can still get them before they are totally gone. Good luck.

Bike Bandit doesn't show these as on closeout....

I've been planning on buying them all winter, just been procrastinating.
I'm a wholesaler of Maxxis tires (auto&lt), and since the Maxxis Classic White Wall isn't available in our sizes, the HiMax was my next choice. I don't have
rights to motorcycle tires, so Bike Bandit where I had planned on buying.

(Cheng Shin Rubber is Maxxis, btw)
