    stuck fuel air mixture screw

    how in the world can i get this screw out. when i took the cap off it looked like they stripped the screw when they were putting it in. im confused and totally stuck.
    I didnt do it I swear !!

    Normally you would not remove it but just turn it gently in all the way and then back out 2 full turns to start. Moot point now that you found them stripped and not that uncommon to have one stripped, IMO. Your choice is leave them alone and assume they are close to correct and take care of valve adjustments and carb synch and other stuff....or try major surgery that may bugger it totally up and then have to replace the whole carb body. I would choose the former.

      Dremmel the tunnel for the stupid EPA cap off. Cut a notch into the top of the screw. Use a torch and heat up the area around the screw. It'll come tight out now.
      If you're scared send it to me and I'll do it.

        Normally the screw head gets "stripped" when the drill used to get the cap out goes too deep, hitting the screw head. Ouch. Dar
