Waking Up Batteries
I tested the battery (12.23 volts) and topped it off with distilled water. It was a little low on water but my question is should I put it on the trickle charger right away or is it better to wait after topping off before charging? I alternate my charger during the winter between the bike battery and lawn tractor battery approx every other week on each. The bike battery was off the charger for a couple of weeks. Put the charger on at any time.
The only time that I know of that you need to wait before charging is when you fill a dry battery and need to wait for all the bubbles to get off the plates so they are entirely wet.
