Got my pilot plugs in
So i just got in the mail the pilot plugs for my gs250. There were none for sale anywhere specifically for the 250 but were pretty sure the 450 sized ones will still fit. Attached is a photo of the plug sitting on the carb, and its not gonna fit. The plug seems to large to fit in the pilot hole. Is it supposed to be really tight or are they easy to plug in and out? Also, anyone here taken apart the carbs from a 250 know for sure if it needs the plugs?

That is right. 1985 GS1150ES stock with 85 Red E bodywork.

I don't think the 250 uses the plugs. They are not listed on the parts fishe.Ed

That's not where that goes, is it ? Doesn't it go down in the area near the gasket, where it has that circular looking stain on it ?
I've slept since I did my carbs, so I may be wrong.

Now that I actually looked at the picture in it's full size I would say that that carb does not use one.
Sorry for the bad advice.
The main jet and pilot jet are the same length so they both pick up fuel from the bowl.
