    Seat Cover

    Hello All,

I was able to pick-up an original seat for my GS650G for $20 in connecticut on Friday.
The pan is in okay condition (I will prime it) but the cover is reaped at 2 spots. The foam looks good. (I should have taken a pic but was busy building a shed this weekend).
I put the seat on the bike to see the difference with the current Mustang seat that is on the bike now, and I like the original seat better (better seating position for my long legs and it looks better on the bike).
So here are my questions... I see many seat covers on ebay but I am not sure of they fit and quality. What do you guys think about this? Has anyone used them? Any other options?

    Thanks much.

I have not seen the ones on eBay or noticed their prices, but you can get one that looks just the original from Saddlemen for about $65.

You could also find an upolstery shop in your area and see what they would charge you.

I've never bought a seat cover from an ebay seller.

Cliff, your "Seat Cover Replacement" link appears to be dead.

Thanks Steve. It's just a link to the PDF file on my website. I fixed it.

motorcycleseatcovers.com seems to be able to make a cover for every model ever made.

Saddleman, Sargent, and Travelcade only make seat covers for a few GS models.
