took carbs off now bike won't start!

    Well, I hope your problem is as you say... if not, we'll be here. Report back your results.

    Not sure how you are planning to prime the carbs but what I do when the bowls are empty is put the petcock on prime (PRI) and wait several minutes. Fuel should be gravity feeding to the carbs while the petcock is on PRI. Full choke (no throttle) and it should start.

    Remember to put the petcock back to ON.

    verify the tank has fuel (you'd be surprised how many times I thought there was plenty of fuel in my tank & there wasn't)

    Spark plugs wires connected. (Duhhh...)

    Petcock works. Have you ever replaced the petcock??
