well I'd say water in the gas, and three rather than four because the bike on sidestand would fill three first, but that doesn't explain not two? maybe just luck?!

That carb looks bad...but bad is relative. GSR member Russr33 gave me some carbs that sat with water in them and some of the float posts had literally disolved, as in gone. The carb bodies were completely junk. I have some VM22 carbs from a 550 that were likewise junk due to corrosion. The photo below is from another 550. Those carbs actually cleaned up fine.
