I must do some digging... I have a spare carb from a Puch...I'll have to take a look. It's a 2-stroke and for some reason...that set up looks familiar...

no no NO!! people!! if you would bother to actually read all the post and actually LOOK at the pictures you would clearly see the circle thing with TK in the middle.
its not a mikuni, its not a weber a holley a carter keihn or some sort of knock off. it is a TeiKei. they were used on some small Yamaha's and some other small scooters and mopeds but not on the 103 Nerobro is working on, it should have had a tiny little Delorto on it or a Gurtner but clearly someone back in the day had wanted to perk it up and changing the carb is a good way to do it.

sweet jesus! there are some insane hot rod parts for that critter!!

70cc water cooled with twin expansion chamber exhaust!!

treatland carries a vast variety of original and aftermarket moped parts for 102, 103, 103ls, 103lvs, 103sp, TSM, TSE, and vogue!

You've got a MZ? Care to share some pictures?

I can, with absolute certainty, tell you that it is not a CT1 carb. I have a CT1. And I also have a LT2 in my garage. Both use Mikuni's with bolt on flanges.

Yes, it's a TK. For sure. I've never seen the TK logo before. I was only confused by the lack of a pilot screw. Now that I've found it... Well that's a different story.

Peugeots all came with Gurtner carbs. Those crazy pieces of crap. :-) At least it's not an encarwi.

It's not "someone back in the day" I bought my bike stock. I'm the one modifying it. Right now, it's got a Polini pipe, Polini reeds, some 19mm intake, that TK carb, and a Airsal 70CC kit.

          Oh, and 25mph rated Chickenskins.

If you love it, let it go. If it comes back....... You probably highsided.
          1980 GS550E (I swear it's a 550...)
          1982 GS650E (really, it's a 650)
          1983 GS550ES (42mpg again)
          1996 Yamaha WR250 (No, it's not a 4 stroke.)
          1971 Yamaha LT2 (9 horsepower of FURY.)

sounds like its time for a gixxer inverted front end and a late model mono shock swing arm with a nice fat 180/55-17 gum ball on back! LOL

a 180? That's wider than most of the bike. I could get 90 deg of lean and only need to worry about the handlebars scraping!
