    clear coting the case covers

    hey all. ive seen on a few threads that after you polish up the case covers to spray them with clear coat. what is the best kind or brand to use. thanks guys

    you're about to get people telling you 2 things.

    1: clear didn't come out that great, or it looked great for a short time and then completely looked like crap

    2: leave them polished and just spend a few min every so often cleaning them up and they will look good forever.

    I think I'll stick with #2 I'm going with the 'brushed' look though because I'm not THAT anal like some of the guys on here are with polishing

      ok. if i leave them just polished whats the best thing to keep them up. should i use like mothers polish for rims?

        Yes, or semichrome or flitz works too.
