    Spring maintenence

Hello all, i am new to riding just got my first bike at the end of the season last year. i have a 1981 650gl, i was just wondering what kind of stuff i should be looking for before i hit the road. Iv changed the oil and filter, plan on dropping the rear end oil. my last ride in October i spilled the bike and am waiting on parts for the front break. I cant seem to find anything that should be greased (i am used to servicing large equipment). just looking for any pointers. Thanks for the help in advance love the site.

BassCliff will be here to give you a welcome and a link to everything you could possibly want to do for maint to your bike. He will be able to give you a list of pre-riding maint that you should do. Most just takes a little time and effort rather than a lot of money so just get a comfy chair and start reading!
