    gs1150 clucth slipage when cold

any Ideas on why my 1150 clucth slips under hard accl. for about the first 15 mins or till oil temp gets to 165 or so then it seems fine . wrong type of oil or bad clucth?

If your clutch is adjusted properly, I would guess that your fibers are worn and ready for replacement. i would also guess that when the bike is warm, the disks expand and grab a little better.

Had the same problem, unfortunally It didn't went away until I replaced the clutch fiber plates and springs.

This happened to me as well. The clutch started to slip when I started using semi-synthetic oil. I ran it this way for a few years then put in a Barnett clutch and problem solved.

Maybe he can just put in a set of HD springs for starters
