    Garage Day @ BassCliff's

Hello to my So. Cal. friends,

I just wanted to let you all know that I'll be doing some regular maintenance to my bike on Saturday. If you'd like to pick my brains (Warning! Slim pickings!) and look over my shoulder while I change oil and check valve clearances, feel free to drop by. I also need to check/clean my fusebox, take some charging system measurements, and I can show you the coil relay mod. If you'd like to hang, PM me and I'll give you directions.

    Thank you for your indulgence,

    BassCliff

I think I'd rather hang than watch you change your oil... (joke)

      No doubt!

Dan, but you already know how to change your oil and adjust your valves. There are a couple of riders in our neck of the woods who may not have done it before.

I hope you're feeling better. You looked a little "under the weather" at the rally.

      Thank you for your indulgence,

Well, thanks for the short notice.

Since you didn't give me enough time to get there, don't bother with the directions.

Didn't you just recently acquire some groovy carb tuning and syncing devices? I have some carbs that need some tuning and syncing....

If I leave right now...I may make it in time. I'll let you reset my valves as by the time I got out there, it would need it again.

                Hi Mr. C.V.,

As a matter of fact, I did! Would you like to be my first victim,...uh, guinea pig,...um, test subject,...er, client?

Come on up. I'm going to wait for my new carb boots and O-rings before I do my bike. I'll practice on yours.

And I'm sorry for the short notice. Steve, Dave, I promise I'll give you guys at least a week's notice so that you can make it out here in time. Basically, head West. Just before you get to the ocean, turn left.

                Thank you for your indulgence,

                BassCliff

I'd love to head over and learn and lend a hand but the worm hole generator is down again. Seems that the darn thing needs a new battery, a good carb cleaning and a new supply of Roentgenium.

                          Best of luck!

Bill, I've got some pliers if you need an extraction.

I've also got a hammer, chisel, file, whatever you need.

Back up to 100% from about yesterday thanks Cliff. I looked a lot worse at the last Gas stop in Costa Mesa!

Garage day is a great idea by the way, bit like Joe Nardy's Tyre changing orgy....
