dynojet!
I noticed that the dynojet main jets for my 82 gs 1100 seem to be alittle longer than the stocks. May be a dumb question, but is it necessary to adjust the float levels to compensate.Tags: None

I'd try to hunt down the original instructions, or contact Dynojet. On my '01 Bandit, the needles are a bit longer, as is the jet; they also call for setting the float level about 2mm lower (for a 2mm higher level of fuel). So it could be a mistake (and a possible source of frustration) to try to guess.and God said, "Let there be air compressors!"

Man I wish Factory Pro made a kit for these bikes...I've had so much more success using FP kits than the DJ kits.
