    83 gs1100e Choke Cable Throttle?

    What's Gang?

I have a 1983 gs1100e. When I go to choke it the choke throttle does not stay where you put it, but it springs back on it's own. What do I have to do to fix that? If anyone has had or having the same problem please give me some help.

    Thanks, Supavert

There is a "wave" washer inside the plastic cup that's attatched to the choke lever. Try to snug up the screw a bit, if the screw is bottomed out, you probably need a new washer, the washer might also not even be installed causing the lever slop as well..
