    Need Some Shim Help.....Please...

Well, I finally am about done doing all the work on my 650G. I replaced front springs with Progressive, New Rear emgo shocks, total rebuild and dip on carbs, couple of cosmetic fun changes, i.e. handle bars, new signals. Last things I have to do are valve adjustment and seat cover. Seat cover is on order and when I measured my valves, low and behold ALL were tight. I couldn't even fit one gauge in between any of them.

So here is my question. Anybody have a THIN shim i can BORROW to get a measurement so I can place my shim order. All the shims I have in the motor are 2.6 to 2.75.....all of em, I took each one out to see, and used a caliper to verify. I really don't think that there was ever a valve adjustment done on the bike. It only has 11K on it and getting the valve cover off was a pain. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Dang, we're slipping here. It took almost an hour to resolve this problem.
