Need a lighter pull clutch lever
I have a 1979 GS 750L and would like to have a lighter pull on the clutch lever. Everthing is new from the cable to the clutch assembly. Is there a lever which would reduce the pull of the clutch and fit the GS? Or what else may be done to improve it by like 40% less pull.Tags: None

Did you replace the clutch springs, too?
Were they stock springs or aftermarket?
Many aftermarket springs, especially the 'high-performance" ones are much stiffer than stock.
Unless you have a big-bore kit, high-compression pistons and higher-performance cams, stock springs are entirely adequate for most riding.

+3 if not stock, get stock springs, the so called 10% stiffer springs are more like 50% stiffer.
get a brand new Suzuki clutch cable, they come with a super slimey gopher guts grease and make a definate reduction in clutch pull.
gummed up cable = hard pull.

Well everyone is right. I used aftermarket springs and clutch cable. Go figure. Thanks to all for answering my questions.
