    GS425 carb question....

When I removed the carbs to rebuild them I failed to note which way this spacer ( btwn the cyl head and the carb flange) is orientated and I was hoping someone here knew. Is it A or B?

    thanks

p.s. This is my 1st bike. I would have never considered an older motorcycle except when doing my research on GSs a co-worker offered to sell me I ran across this great site. It gave me the confidence to think I could actually get this beast running.
    thanks again

I think that detail on the inside goes down. Check each one right and left and see if that makes sense.

        Hi,

Aren't they labeled "R" and "L" on the intake boots themselves? I'll have to take a close look at mine.

        Thank you for your indulgence,

          I looked everywhere..

but I found no marks on the spacers themselves. It was a while before I went to replace the carbs so all other "evidence" of parts mating, wear marks, etc had been disturbed.

          thanks for the input
