    gs carb question

    will an 81' gs250 carb work on an 83' gs450? can get a good deal if it does. if not whats the difference between them.

    Not sure if they are even the right size, but the jetting will certainly be different.

    What's wrong with the one you have now?

      oops!!!

      i really screwed up the air adjustment screw. and now can't get it out.
      couldn't i gust swap jets? if they are the same size?

          i didn't see any in that thread but serching the web it said that they were the same model. bs34ss 34mm maybe i could just switch the jets.

            got new info

            just checked the specs on the gs250 and they are the same size carb and jetting as a gs450. just engine is different size. carb size - bs34 pilot jet 17.5
            main jet 115
