    vacuum lines

Hi all, I did search on carbs found nothing, here is the question; 81 GS650G, there are three rubber hoses coming off the carb; as you sit on the bike left side hose goes to the vacuum nipple of the petcock,- center hose goes to the feul nipple, on the right side there is another hose between the #3 and #4 carb, where does this go to?

That hose is for a breather. There should be two of them.

So basically you have the bigger hose on the bigger nipple and smaller hose on the little nipple.

If you have three hoses coming off the carbs ... you are missing one.

The smaller one that comes from carb #2 is your vacuum line that goes to the smaller nipple on the petcock.
The larger line that it between carbs 2&3 is your fuel feed line, and should be connected to the larger nipple on the petcock.

The hose between 3&4 is a vent line, it just goes over the airbox and connects to ... nothing.
There should be another one between 1&2 that does exactly the same thing.
