    Thanks! will do.

The '99 to '05 600 Katana rear wheel uses the same size wheel bearings (17x47x14) as the gs700/750 rear. They are a straight spoke wheel. Not the same style as the '07 gsxr front but maybe close enough?

Ive put an 05 arm in an gsx1100efe (1150 ?) not as straight forward as you may think but no problems that cant be solved, i'm not sure the same applies to your bike to be honest only one way to find out

A much simpler fix would be to use either a slingshot of bandit 12 arm & sort the wheels out later

        hope it helps

Billie's Engine upgrade: Cosworth 12:1 CR roadracing pistons

          Billie-

Keep us posted with your engine upgrade & pictures too. That engines gonna be killer! I was pondering the complexities of some of the projects I've seen will thinking about my own. I have my own ideas, but I would be interested in hearing from others- why do we upgrade & rebuild older bikes to the extent we do?

Will do. I'll start a thread when things really get to rolling. The head will be going out to Ray to do a radius valve job, possibly oversize valves, porting and some lumpy cams.

Here is one of the pistons.

              Hey biliie-

What kind or rearsets are those? Do you have any pictures of your speedo/tach posted?

Rearsets are some early to mid '90s GSXR. It's been awhile so I'm not sure of the years. No pics of the gauges right now.

New rear tire for the 83' 750

I picked up a 2006 Katana rear wheel on e-bay (115.00 w/ shipping)- the rear axle fits perfectly. The tire is really close on the left side of the swingarm- at the least I will have to grind some of the slag from the welding. Also, the axle is all the way to the rear of the adjustment on the swingarm, so I am not sure how the chain adjustment is going to work out. I was wondering if anyone knows if the 85 GS700es or 86' & 87' GSX-R 750 swingarms are any longer than my 83'? These look like they are the only swingarms that will swap out relatively easily. I will post a couple of pictures of the tire in my "parts-testbed" frame for all to see. On a different note-Been working on the 83′ GS750ES. As mentioned previously, it was purchased on craigslist in California for $400.00. My brother-in-law picked it up in SanJose on his way from Bakersfield where he works, to his home in Sacramento. The neighbor lady went down to visit family in Sacramento and brought it back in her pickup truck. Saved me a BUNCH of time & gas! I was climbing the walls for two months while she was gone, but she finally got back mothers-day weekend. Got the bike running a couple of days later. Had to replace the front master cylinder but fortunately I had a spare on the "parts-test bed" bike I purchased a year earlier for $150.00. It came with everything, but the engine has a spun rod bearing. Anyway got the new master cylinder on, front & rear brakes bled and took it for a “test flight” at 1806 hours, Monday, May 19th, 2009. Shifted through all the gears and the brakes worked fine, although could stand to be bled again. Engine definately needs tuning, but it was nice to hear the header! On the down side, I busted a header bolt off in the head. BUMMER! REALLY looking forward to putting on the new 07' Suzuki GSXR 600 front end off of Ebay. Heres a picture the previous owner shot- I imeadiated removed the "Umbrella" stickers! Left the radioactive sticker on top of the tank though, seems to fit w/ our image here at Area 51 Bikeworks. Thanks for your time- I apprecate the posts & encouragement.

700 swingarm is the same as the 750. I answered your question about using the '93 swingarm by PM.
