Need Help sizing a Fork brace does this look right

Wondering if the following dimensions for a fork brace will fit my 1982 GS1100E, the fork brace hole diameter is about 61mm (2.387") and the center-to-center hole spacing is 185mm (about 6.215"). Thanks-- JD

I'll measure mine and let you know. Are the 82 and 83 the same?

Center to center is 7 3/10 inches

The fork diameter is around 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 (adjustable)
Doesn't seem to be wide enough
