Got it apart... By drilling and then grinding the head off the axle, twisted the other end with a pipe wrench while prying the left fork leg away from the wheel, then pounded what was left of the axle out of the wheel bearings. The good news, didn't damage the fork, or the wheel other than the bearings have been hammered on so will need to be replaced.
The bad news, my spare axle is bent so looking for one.
