I would suggest pb blaster and some heat. Let the pb blaster soak. Is there a head left on the screw? You may be able to take a dremel with a cutoff wheel and cut the well to expose the screw head. The #4 carb on my bike has the well cut off below the screw head because the old screw was destroyed. Take your time so you don't cut into the screw. Once you cut down far enough, get a pair of pliers on the old screw or cut a slot in the head with the cutoff wheel and use a screwdriver.

If I were you I would trim the tower down far enough to expose some of the screw. Cut a slot in it and remove it. If this does not work, I would shop for another carb body. I don't see how you could drill it out and rethread it because it is a precision made piece, its not like you broke one of the screws on the carb cover. The mixture screw is machined to fit precisiously in that hole and meter the amount of gas.

If you have cv carbs, they are usually included in the K&L rebuild kits. Post in the parts wanted to see if anyone has one laying around. I couldn't tell from your pic want bike you have. I might have an extra because my bike has cv carbs..I'm at work right now but can look when I get home. If I have one I'll mail it to you.

The type I have are for the BS32's with the o-ring on the bottom. Bike Bandit might have them. I would post in the parts wanted, someone probably has one laying around. Sorry I couldn't help you out.
