My GS750ED bike, will lock the brakes if I go that far, I usually practice in the spring with some hard stops to get used to it again and I can make the front tire HOWL 8O with the handle about half way down. It is pretty close to locking right up. The back will lock without too much effort even with a wider tire back there. I think you should thoroughly clean the rotors, check for glazing and replace the pads. While you are at it rebleed the whole set up and heck, take the pistons out and check the condition of the cylinders. It will only take a Saturday afternoon, then you can be out riding all day Sunday with loads of confidence in your stopping ability. 8)

I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
