gs 550 new problem

ok so i cleaned the carbs cleaned the petcock and cleaned the tank she started right up no problem she went threw the gears on the center stand once i took her off the center stand and tried to rider down the drive way she stalled got her started took her down shifted to second she died restarted it drove her a little further and she died she would idle but whenever i put her in gear she died what could this be

Is there one on the 550? Mine will happily ride with the side stand down :-/

does it idle with out you having to keep it alive? or can it not idle on its own?

What did you do when you cleaned the carbs? Is the airbox still on the bike? Stock exhaust system? What year is the bike? What else have you done to the bike lately?

idles fine think it might b a problem with the petcock not getting it enough gas
