    A bit of good luck.....

I headed out the door all geared up to ride the 1100 to work Monday...pulled on the clutch lever and the cable snapped...good luck because I was at home in the driveway.

Can this cable be replaced without tank removal? Its full

that is good luck lol.you should be able to change it without removing the tank. Someone with more insight on this will chime in soon.

I think it will be very difficult to attach the cable end to the choke rail without removing the tank - plus the cable is routed along the frame under the tank middle.

With almost 6 gallons of fuel, that full tank weighs around 35-40#. Not too bad a job to remove - easier than trying to work under it I think...

      Good luck

I removed my tank today to adjust my valves...the tank was full of gas.

No way to properly route the cable, without tank removal

You're a Marine, you're big and strong, remove the tank.
I do it all the time, and the Marines wouldn't even take me.

Life is too short to ride an L.

Mine broke 4 blocks from the cycle shop. Interesting stopping for the red light that caught me. Had to change it in their parking lot.
