Any ideas why a 1982 GS850GL with good tires[they look good], new steering bearings[replaced tring to solve this problem],rear shocks are a little soft, would wander back and forth while travelling around 20-30 mph. Seems to go away at higher speeds. thanks

Put bike on center stand and start bike in gear and look at tread line. Might have a broken belt and wobble.
Just got rid of that problem on wifes 650L... -
Check your swing arm bearings, too, while you have it on the center stand.

Swingarm bearings on a shaftie rarely present a problem, but they're worth checking.
How old are those tires? "They look good" doesn't mean squat.1983 GS850G, Cosmos Blue.
