    750 16v Stage 3 DynoJet Jet size

Anyone know the DJ jet size? I will eventually get a DJ kit but I just want a rough idea so I can run the engine with new clutch in it - check the noises have disappeared.

    I have a feeling it's probably something like a 140. Stock is 117.5.

Also if anyone has a jet kit they don't want... I'd be interested.

    Cheers,

    Dan

I have the mains from the dj stage 3 kit, never used them. The larger ones were 130 and the smaller ones were 124.
I think a 130dj is equal to a 120 mikuni. My stock size was 112.5.

if u go to the DJ websire they list a complete parts list for app applications. That includes teh DJ jet sizes which are diff to Mikuni

DJ = Mikuni +10 (or so)

            Hmm DJ 130 that's about a 120. Thankyou. I have some122.5 & some 125's which should do for what I want....

Out of interest does it also include a bush for the main air jet (4 little brass bushes that you tap into a hole in the front (filter) side of the carb?

Yes, it does, so that jet size doesnt help you without the air correctors in place.

I thought it might... that size sounded a bit small to me without an air corrector bush!

Ok thanks. I will probably put something huge (ish) in there then just to be on the safe side for test purposes. Lucky I have 132.5's, some 142 & some 165 DJ's, some 145 DJ's etc plenty to choose from.
