Fork Oil
I had a wild hair last night and pulled off forks for a rebuild ( New Progressive Springs & Seals ) Well here's my problem it's Sunday no MotorCycle shops opened and I don't have any fork oil, is there a equivalent that I might find a my local auto parts store.

People often talk about "foaming" when discussing fork oils but I don't think this is a concern. ATF and motor oil have anti foaming additives already so I wouldn't worry about this detail.
Regarding what to use, any kind of 10W - 20W oil should be fine depending on the ride you want. Suzuki recommends a mix of 10W oil and ATF on some models so that would be fine. Just try to find a viscosity that matches what you want, and you should be fine.Ed

focus frenzy
I run standard dextron/mercon transmission fluid. it is about equal to 10w oil and works quite well. thicker oil would stiffen the compression and rebound making for a rougher ride.
