I’m kind of shocked that you needed to get the o ring from Suzuki, Napa or the equitant didn’t have a o ring in the right size? dose needing a o ring from the dealer happen a lot?

      O-Ring

Did you replace the seal too? I've had several leak oil around the tach drive gear.

I like using Suzuki parts for these type of things. It was three bucks give or take. Worth the aggrevation to me, rather than searching around trying to find one to fit. I got a cam cover gasket as well, but I'm pretty sure it's this o-ring causing the leak.
I did not get the seal.......probably should have.No biggie. If it continues to leak, I'll just replace it too.

The Suzuki O-ring is special for the tach gear - it has a flat edge.

Question for Larry: why did you start two threads for the same issue? All you have to do is reply to your own thread and add more photos in the second post. Nice photos by the way. Keep up the good work.
