    OK, before anybody else calls me out on it, I have to admit ...

    I made a mistake.



    I just came back from Auto Zone and realized that the plug I had gotten for a bike was, indeed, a 1.5 pitch, not the 1.25 I had mentioned earlier.

    Mainfr4me, go ahead and use that 14 x 1.5 OS that you got, it will work just fine.
    Just grease it up like everyone suggests, then take it out and clean it off before you install it with a gasket and fill the oil.

      1983 GS 1100E w/ 1230 kit, .340 lift Web Cams, Ape heavy duty valve springs, 83 1100 head with 1.5mm oversized SS intake valves, 1150 crank, Vance and Hines 1150 SuperHub, Star Racing high volume oil pump gears, 36mm carebs Dynojet stage 3 jet kit, Posplayr's SSPB, Progressive rear shocks and fork springs, Dyna 2000, Dynatek green coils and Vance & Hines 4-1 exhaust.
      1985 GS1150ES stock with 85 Red E bodywork.

        Oh well, I've been far wronger (yea, not sure if that's even a word) in the past. And most likely will be in the future.
