    substitutes for front turn signals

Are there other reasonably priced turn signals that would substitute for the 2 wire stock 12V @23W signals in my 1983 GS 1100GL?

    1983 GS 1100 G
2000 Suzuki Intruder 1500, "Piggy Sue"
2000 GSF 1200 Bandit (totaled in deer strike)
1986 Suzuki Cavalcade GV 1400 LX (SOLD)

I find working on my motorcycle mildly therapeutic when I'm not cursing.

Take your pick -- there are about 14 pages of approximately 1,279 kinds of turn signals in the Dennis Kirk catalog.

It depends more on what look you want. Electrically they all work the same.

Keep in mind that if you switch to LEDs they don't draw enough electricity to trigger most flashers, so you'll have to use an electronic flasher or add resistors.

    2005 KLR685, Aztec Pink - Turd II.3, the ReReReTurdening
2015 Yamaha FJ-09, Magma Red Power Corrupts...

Please provide details. The GSR Hive Mind is nearly omniscient, but not yet clairvoyant.

What is it about your turn signals that makes you want to replace them?

There were no front signals on the bike when I bought it. Thanks for the tip Bwringer. I guess by asking it I showed what a newbie I am. I'd be lost without this site. Jim M
