    77 gs750 motor vs 81

    Hey there,

    Does anyone know if the carbs off a 77 motor will fit onto an 81?

    Anything is possible, but this certainly wouldn't be feasible. Completely different hookups to head & airbox. Just my opinion

      Easy one to answer. NO! they will not fit. The two models have different size intakes and carbs.

        Being as they just attach with a rubber boot, couldnt you just use a boot that reduces? Just asking. Say something to this nature?


        I know not this exact item, but Im sure with more than a couple minutes on Google, something better could be found.

          whats wrong with the cv carbs? trying to swap would be a wasted of time.
